Our fire door maintenance service starts with a full inspection of every door on site, checking the gaps around the leaf, the condition of the intumescent strips and smoke seals, the hinges, the door closer and the signage, and confirming that each door closes fully into its frame on its own. Any faults we find are recorded in a written report with photographs, which gives you the evidence of inspection your fire risk assessment needs and we then carry out the remedial work to bring each door back up to standard. For residential buildings over 11 metres, we can also schedule the quarterly checks of communal fire doors and annual checks of flat entrance doors required under the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, so the inspections happen on time without you having to keep track of them.
